Is your phone eSIM-ready?
Most modern smartphones support eSIM. Confirm yours before purchase to avoid any surprises.
Check Device Compatibility
An eSIM only works on an eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone. Checking first means you buy the right thing and can install it without issues.
This is guidance, not a guarantee. Always confirm eSIM support in your device settings, and note that carrier-locked phones may not work with our eSIM.
Apple (iPhone)
iPhone XS / XR and later support eSIM. Dial *#06# and look for an EID number to confirm. iPhones sold in mainland China are the main exception.
Samsung Galaxy
Galaxy S20 and later, plus recent Note, Z Fold, and Z Flip models, support eSIM in most regions. Some carrier or regional variants disable it.
China / Hong Kong models
Phones sold in mainland China often ship without eSIM hardware, and some Hong Kong iPhone variants differ. Check the model number before buying.
Carrier lock
A phone locked to a home carrier may reject other eSIMs. Ask your carrier to unlock the device, or use an unlocked phone.
If your device isn't supported
Use a spare unlocked eSIM phone, or contact support. We'll help you find a workable option for your trip.
